This Privacy Policy explains how Spaceman Apps ("Spaceman Apps", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use LookAhead Pro — our drilling operations planning application — and the website at lookaheadpro.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account or sign in (including via email magic link or a guest session).
- Organization & team data — the organization you create or join, member roles, and invitations.
- Operational content — the data you enter to plan your work: rigs, wells, pads, tasks and schedules, measured depths, templates, notes, and similar drilling-program information.
- Vendor & contact information — details you record about service vendors and contacts, such as company name, role, phone number, and email address.
- Communications — messages you send us, such as support email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — log data, device and browser type, operating system, and how you interact with the Service, collected to operate, secure, and improve it.
- Cookies and local storage — used, for example, to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use them for cross-site advertising.
- Push tokens — if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can deliver your reminders.
Payment information
If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited billing details (such as plan, status, and the last digits of your card) to manage your subscription.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Create and manage your account, organization, and team access;
- Sync your data across your devices and send the reminders and notifications you configure;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Respond to your requests and provide support;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers (subprocessors) — trusted vendors who process data on our behalf, including our database and hosting providers (e.g., Supabase, Vercel), our payment processor (e.g., Stripe), and notification, email, and SMS delivery providers. They are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Within your organization — content you create in an organization is visible to other members of that organization according to their role.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or us.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Third-party contact data you provide
The Service lets you store information about vendors and contacts. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that information and to contact those individuals or companies, and for complying with applicable laws (including anti-spam and privacy laws) when you use the Service to reach them.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then retain and use it as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, authenticated access, and row-level security that isolates each organization's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information in the app, and you can contact us at hello@lookaheadpro.app to make a request. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including Canada and the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date; material changes may be communicated through the Service.
